Light: Fittonias do well in low to medium light, but can also tolerate brighter sun if placed behind a sheer curtain. Do not expose this plant to direct sun for extended periods of time.

Water: Maintain most soil, allowing only the top inch to dry out before watering again. Do not let the plant sit in standing water.
