Natural Habitat: tropical South America
Note: This plant goes dormant during the summer months, causing the leaves and stems to die back. During this time, care for the plant by pruning back these dead leaves and stems, placing a shaded area and watering minimally. After a few months, the plant will come out of dormancy and grow new stems and leaves.
