Light: Provide this cactus with bright direct sunlight for at least 3 hours each day. 

Water: During Spring and Summer growing seasons, watering thoroughly, allowing the plant to almost dry out between waterings. During Fall and Winter rest periods, reducing waterings, only providing water when the plant begins to slightly shrivel.
