Light: Polka dot plants before bright indirect light in order to balance strong leaf color with a compact growth form. They can tolerate low light levels well, but will become "leggy" and stretched out over time. Avoid direct sun for more than two hours.
Water: Maintain moderately moist soil, allowing the top inch to dry out between thorough waterings. Do not let the plant sit in water at the bottom of the pot for extended periods of time.
Family: Acanthaceae
Natural Habitat: Madagascar, South Africa, Southeast Asia
